□ Name: Heejung, the main character, names him Jihae but his birth name is Eddison Erise.

□ History: The bastard son of an untouchable woman and a noble man is destined to have a tough life. Especially when the colour of his hair is regarded as ominous and shunned. When it comes to a society with a caste system there is no escape. At fifteen, Jihae was sent to serve someone who was regarded as having more worth, a maid in the castle. She had an affair with the King and gave birth to a prodigious son, Jieun. When Jihae was eighteen, Jieun appointed him as his knight. For the rest of his life, Jihae would serve the prince. Whether it be cutting apples for him or assisting him with his clothes, there was never a trace of resentment while he served. Jihae considers Jieun to be the one who saved him from a pitiable life. The two are very close, which remains unchanged once they enter 'the game' and become competitors.

Jihae's first love intended to marry him but her father refused to approve the union because of the difference in their social class, and to avoid any children inheriting Jihae's 'disgusting' silver hair. When told to marry someone else, the woman decided she would rather die than marry someone she didn't love and killed herself. Jihae takes all the responsibility for that choice, blaming his own existence for her death.

Once in the modern world he appears to be a white rabbit. When Heejung inadvertently restores his true appearance, there isn't any culture shock since he had time to adjust while living as a rabbit.

□ Personality: Jihae is a very reserved individual. He is the storybook prince of early Disney movies, in the sense of referring to Heejung as "My Lady" and offering to do everything for her. He asks permission before doing anything, such as assisting with cooking or watching Heejung sketch. This is mostly a set of behaviours he learned to fit in with the upper class. Jihae has very low self-worth and considers himself ugly due to having been ostracized for most of his life due to his silver hair and low social rank.

However, he can be driven to act emotionally when someone he cares for is threatened, such as suddenly kissing Heejung out of jealousy or arguing with Jieun over whether he deserved to be happy with Heejung instead of remaining as Jieun's knight. Near the end of his route he chooses to leave Heejung to try to keep her from losing her memories through choosing to be with him. He is described as always sacrificing himself for others, and any time he makes a decision it is with the best interest of others in mind. He can be persuaded to change his mind only if the alternative benefits someone else, such as Heejung convincing him not to quit his job, but Jieun failing to convince him to allow sweets before bedtime.

Jihae only shows Heejung his affection after he softly corners her into explaining why she can't look at him without blushing. He isn't a shy man, and won't hesitate to put someone in their place if their behaviour is rude. When romance is mentioned he appears comfortable with it, even teasing Heejung when she stares at a kissing couple, but insists she wear his coat over her bikini. While he initially states that he does not know what he likes or dislike, and never expresses any interests, he comes to share Heejung's love of art.

In short, Jihae is the type of man to suffer lashes if it would save someone else from enduring them. On the surface he is distant and lacks distinction, but underneath he is warm and passionate about living.

□ Age: None given exactly, but he is a few years over 18 at least.
□ Gender: Male
□ Appearance: Even in the world of dating sims, where every character is attractive, Jihae stands out. He is tall, stunning, and his pale skin is complimented by ice-blue eyes. He dresses in dark blue with black when not shown in the military-esque uniform. Jihae becomes a model after a scout approaches him on the street, but he doesn't have any personal interest in the profession. Several girls follow him around and when out on a date he comments that he is often recognized from magazine covers. Jihae does not smile at anyone unless he holds great affection for them. Otherwise, he appears cold and indifferent.

As a rabbit, Jihae's blue eyes remain and his long fur is silver. This attracts attention from animal lovers as well, and just the same as when he appears human, Jihae prefers to ignore or avoid the attention.

The rabbit ears remain on his head in human form and are always hidden under a hat unless he is alone with those who know his secret.
